Draft updated: 4 October 2026 — subject to organiser approval before live ticket sales
These terms apply to tickets purchased for events organised or promoted by NexaEvents. Please read the event-specific listing and applicable venue conditions before purchasing. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights.
1. Ticket cancellation and refunds
Ticket purchases are generally final, non-cancellable and non-refundable where a customer changes their mind, cannot attend, purchases in error, arrives late or leaves early, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The usual 14-day online cooling-off period does not generally apply to tickets for leisure events on a specified date or period.
NexaEvents may consider exceptional refund or transfer requests submitted in writing on a case-by-case basis. Promptly reported accidental duplicate purchases may also be considered at its discretion.
2. Event cancellation, postponement and venue changes
If NexaEvents cancels an event and does not reschedule it, eligible ticket holders will receive a refund of the ticket purchase amount in accordance with applicable purchase terms and Irish consumer law, normally to the original payment method. Refund arrangements will be communicated using booking contact details.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, NexaEvents will communicate the available options, which may include transferring the ticket to the new date, an applicable refund or another remedy required by law. Significant venue or event changes will be communicated with any applicable options. Circumstances outside the organiser’s reasonable control will be assessed individually; statutory rights remain unaffected.
3. Booking, prices and payment
Check the event, date, ticket category, quantity, entry restrictions and total price, including any disclosed fees, before paying. A booking is confirmed only after the authorised checkout confirms successful payment. Do not email full payment-card details to NexaEvents.
4. Electronic ticket delivery
Tickets are normally issued electronically. Provide an accurate email address, check spam/junk folders, keep tickets and QR codes secure and present a valid ticket at entry. Do not share a QR code unless an authorised transfer is permitted.
5. Children and age restrictions
Event-specific age restrictions take precedence. Where an event is advertised as 18+, under-18s cannot enter unless the specific event terms expressly permit otherwise. Where children are admitted, applicable guardian, ticket and venue requirements apply. Proof of age may be requested.
6. Doors, show time and late arrival
Doors Open is the time admission begins; Show Start is the scheduled performance start. Arriving at least 30–45 minutes before the show is recommended. Late entry may be delayed or refused where necessary to avoid disruption; late arrival does not normally entitle a customer to a refund.
7. Entry and QR verification
A valid authorised ticket is required. Tickets may be scanned at entry. Invalid, duplicated, cancelled or already-used tickets may be refused. Reasonable venue security checks and entry conditions apply.
8. Security, conduct and prohibited items
Weapons, illegal substances, unauthorised professional recording equipment, large luggage and venue-prohibited items may be refused. Threatening, abusive, unsafe or seriously disruptive conduct can result in refusal of entry or removal, subject to applicable law. Venue rules may add restrictions.
9. Seating
Where an event is General Admission, individual seats may not be allocated and admission or seating may operate on a first-come basis, subject to the ticket category and event arrangements. For numbered-seat events, follow the seat shown on the ticket and reasonable staff instructions.
10. Resale and transfer
Resale and transfer are allowed only where permitted by the relevant event and authorised ticketing platform. Fraudulent, altered or duplicated tickets may be invalidated. Tickets purchased through unauthorised sellers may not guarantee entry.
11. Photography and recording
Photography or filming may occur at events for promotional or archival purposes, subject to applicable privacy requirements and event notices. Professional recording may require prior authorisation.
12. Travel and accommodation
Customers arrange their own transport and accommodation. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, personal travel and accommodation costs are not included in ticket refunds; applicable legal rights remain unaffected.
13. Refund processing
Approved or legally required refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider and bank. Any mandatory statutory reimbursement deadlines apply.
14. Contact and acceptance
For ticket questions, contact [email protected] with the booking reference, booking name, event name and purchase email. By completing checkout you agree to these terms, event-specific conditions and venue rules, subject always to applicable law. The version in force at purchase will be recorded where supported by the ticketing system.
